    Girl… me and the thirty day challenge… well…. me and the thirty day challenge! *SIGH*

    Mother’s Day was my undoing (it was that Baskin-Robbins ice cream cake that started it all… but the Melting Pot Chocolate Fondue didn’t help either… anywho!) It has taken me longer than I should have allowed to get back on track, but I am there. I can see the difference the first seven days made and you keep me motivated and inspired… even when I’m not acting right!

    Thanks for doing what you do! You are the bomb!

    CARLA, FIRST I WANT TO SAY WHAT AN INSPIRATION U HAVE BEEN. I SAT BACK AND READ POSTS FOR MORE THAN 90 DAYS. ALWAYS MARVELING AT EVERYONES SUCCESS. THEN IT HIT ME FOR REAL I AINT GON GET NO SMALLER WATCHING CHALEANS EXTREME BURN. I HAD BECOME EXTRA DEPRESSED BECAUSE OF CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES IE. NOT HAVING A HUSBAND. SOOOO OUT OF BOREDOME AND SELF PITY I GOT UP GOT OUT AND MOOOOVED SUMTHIN. AND I MUST SAY THAT THE END RESULT IS SO SATISFYING AND LIBERATING TO I MUST SAY. RIGHT NOW IM ONLY WALKING AND DOING A STAND UP AB ROUTINE ON DVD, IM WORKIN MY WAY TO P90X OR INSANITY. ITS JUST THAT MY KNEES ARE BAD AND MY STWMINA AND ENDURANCE ARE LOW. BUT IF I KEEP THIS UP I WILL BE THERE IN NO TIME. AND BESIDES I AM ENJOYING MYSELF SO MUCH THAT THERE IS NO RUSH. I AM A WORK IN PROGRESS AND I REALIZE THAT I AM WORTH IT WITH OR WITHOUT A HUSBAND. SO ONCE AGAIN KUDOS MS PALMER. IM GETTING MY SEXY BACK.

    I just became a fan on Facebook. I am very impressed, inspired and really to GYSB. I hope to find this site helpful to me. I admit I am a Yo-Yo dieter and will try any quick diet or diet pills to loss weight. By reading your story I feel I can be healthy and fitness the right way. Wish me luck on my weight loss journey.     Hi Carla,
    This is my first time on your website! I found out about you through one of my relatives on fb, and I think that what you’re doing is amazing. I’m a little nervous about joining because all the people I’ve seen pictures of on your fb page are well established adults. I’m 21 years old, and I’ve always struggled with my weight. It’s really hard to stay motivated when my friends are already either very physically fit and it’s damaging to my self esteem to work out with them, or are just completely not interested in bettering themselves. I think what I really need is for someone to help show me exactly how to start, because this seems very overwhelming! But I think I may have found a fitness home in you, and your movement. Thank you!

      First let me apologize for the late response. I have been moving non-stop for the past few weeks. Please don’t think the GYSB movement is just for people like myself who are over 40. It’s actually a GREAT thing that you are starting to think about your health NOW instead of waiting until later when the process becomes more of a challenge (deteriorating bones, less energy and slower metabolism). Get the weight off now so that you’re signing this song 15 years from now. There are a lot of people who have written and asked me similar questions in search of tips that may help them achieve their weight loss goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I took all of those questions and put them in an ebook in hopes that it will help people who have been inspired by my story and want to know how I got started and how I’m able to maintain. The book will be available this week. I hope that you will benefit from some of the information I’ve placed in the book.
